17 General Meeting at Crawfordjohn, 2 November, 1698.

Members chosen for a conference at Glasgow in November ‘with their disunited brethren and Mr [Hugh] McHendry’:
Sir Robert Hamilton and Mr. Robert Smith, for the General Meeting.
Mr. James Kid, for the Lothians.
Thomas Kid, John Bell or James Mundell, for Nithsdale and Eskdale.
Mr. [William?] Stuart and Mr. Scott, for Galloway.
John Wilson, for Ayrshire.
Robert Maxwell, for Renfrewshire.
James Cran, John Hanlon and Robert Hamilton, for Lanarkshire.
Ninian Oliphant, for Tweeddale. [A delegate of the Societies in ‘Teviotdale and Eskdale’ in March, 1689, and a lieutenant in the Cameronian Regiment in April of that year.]
