12 General Meeting at Leadhills, 25 November, 1696.

A letter to be sent to Eskdale in answer to one of 19 November. Also commissions to societies in Annandale and Nithsdale ‘for there help in what affairs they have among them [in Eskdale]’.

Letter to be drafted by Ayrshire societies for their friends in Ireland.

A lifting of the suspension of Robert Speirs agreed with conditions.

William Stuart’s suspension ratified and he is asked to attend and answer at the next meeting.

Resolved that Sir Robert Hamilton, James Currie and Robert Hamilton hold a conference with the Bo’ness society and Mr James Kid and that if satisfied, desire that some of them come to the next meeting.
